She outlined the brief for a multi-disciplined shoot which was to be a mix of industrial food-processing shots, a session of corporate portraiture photography (to match previous shoots in Spain, Finland and the USA) plus some stylish lifestyle office groups. A number of images were sent across to help maintain their Corporate Guidelines.
Graham and his assistant, Charlotte dressed in all the appropriate work-wear to access the industrial photography part of the job. Getting a great selection of photographs that bought a sense of movement and surprising angles is always fun, sometimes challenging but tremendously rewarding when you can make the client smile as much as I did!
We approached the Corporate Portraits in a different way – this time shooting tethered, so the Nikon attaches to my Mac Book Pro , and you see the images live, as shot, straight away. It enables the subject to know what we’re looking for and what we’re getting. Images can be selected, cropped and adjusted as we shoot. It helps put people at ease and they can commit to the images that they like.
The relaxed and informal office photography part of the job was handled in the same manner, utilising a mix of locations across the facility. From staircases to stand up desks – to circular windows and glass reflections, Grahams eye for a creative commercial image is second to none!
Both clients were pleased and impressed with the finished results. It’ss a pleasure to work in so many varied types of photography!
