Academic Timetable specialist, award-winning Celcat in Coleshill, contacted Graham with a varied brief to cover a range of photo requirements.
A fairly tight deadline was agreed, and advice and suggestions to help with the look and feel of the images were given by Graham.

- Background theme – pop-up logo or company colors?
- Smart or casual?
- Branded clothing – shirts, ties, etc?
We set up in the company boardroom: lights, background, camera, laptop, tripod, etc. Each person was photographed in the same position and angle to give a set corporate look and a level of consistency that would provide the company with a professional set of headshots to be proud of.
Despite most people’s resistance to being photographed, we were very pleased with “That’s perfect!” when they reviewed the portraits live on my laptop. We got three “perfects” for the headshots that we shot.
Shooting tethered means staff choose and agree on the best shot as we go, avoiding the pain of vetting photos after the event and not getting the right shot at the time.
Part of the brief was also a combination of exterior views of the beautiful Coleshill office complex, along with a large team group photograph. You can see that my lighthearted but firm manner resulted in smiles all around.
The contact sheets of all the photos were approved, and the accompanying invoice was paid, at which point the high-resolution images were duly sent across.
