Always great to hear from new potential customers. Birmingham-based Petrel Lighting Solutions had already checked out both my LinkedIn profile and my website before getting in touch.
With a 40-year history of making some of the toughest lighting products imaginable, it was time to get their website and promotional material bang up to date.
The product photography was set up to shoot at their premises in Kitts Green: a backdrop, lighting and laptop combined with both professional camera and tripod, enabling the client to check images live as they happened.
It was quickly established that the safety lighting looked better lit, and exposure and lighting adjustments were made to shoot each product both lit and unlit.
Along with all of the above, a short tour of the factory facilities highlighted a few interesting and picture-worthy opportunities to shoot: areas of interest, from the colourful powder paint coating to the large on-site warehouse. We managed to produce powerful pictures.
With a couple of exterior photographs and a large staff group, we tied up all the loose ends on this commercial shoot.
