When this huge multinational was looking for a commercial photographer to provide a combination of corporate headshots of staff and a variety of team member studies, then Graham was the obvious choice.
With lots (and lots!) of experience in the genres required, a combination of a phone call, a LinkedIn search, and a request to connect proved the company was on the right lines to entrust their corporate photography to a seasoned professional.
Birmingham NEC was the venue where staff from several different countries gathered for a company conference and get-together over three days. The NEC Plaza Suite provided the ideal meeting room areas to accommodate the company portraits.
The impressive staircase up to the Exhibition Halls was quickly scouted by Graham and the client to do the team shots, from the large ‘Everyone Together’ to the smaller groups of Sales, Marketing, Accounts, and HR.
Careful consideration, organising where people stand, and looking for those members of staff that seem to be hiding behind colleagues, is all part of a professional photographer’s remit. Taller people at the back, and if you are hiding, I will bring you to the front!
I have a natural and friendly rapport with people combined with a loud voice to marshal the troops! It’s all about me! To make sure you get memorable and meaningful group photos. This one shows whom the company is committed to – you! (the viewer).
After three hours, we had all the pics the client required – but I threw in this cracking B/W image, which was a lovely little extra that the client appreciated. The client’s quote: “Everyone has commented on how great you were.”
