When this lovely young lady first approached me, the first thing I suggested was to meet up for a coffee. I was happy to pop to Lichfield Cafe Nero to chat about what she wanted, giving due consideration to props, clothing, poses, and what level of nudity she was comfortable with.

While we were both in the queue, I popped my phone with the pic she sent in front of her, allowing the lady between us to go ahead. The tills stopped working—“cash only, I’m afraid.” The lady we had ushered ahead got hers for free! I asked her if she had paid for ours!

We had a very leisurely discussion over the next 40-50 minutes. Discovering that a boudoir-related shoot had been on her mind for quite a while, the end of a long-term relationship had ignited her desire to look fit, confident, and beautiful.

If your partner hardly ever pays you a compliment and is generally unsupportive and negative, then an empowering and fun photo shoot will do you a world of good.

I’m easygoing, friendly, and always keen to show you at your best. My aim is to keep things light, tell you what works (and what doesn’t), suggest poses and props, clothes and underwear, lingerie or hats.

The latter suggestion worked really well with both a steampunk style and a demure art nude, with a straw hat (by the client) and a long chiffon transparent black bow and trailing ribbon (by me).

I work with all genders and sexual orientations of any age, so don’t be shy. Talk to me about how you would like to see yourself.

The client had many shots she loved, and I offered to produce a full beauty edit of her favorite three. We are currently discussing the production of a boudoir book which she can treasure and perhaps share with a new, more supportive partner.

Client quote: “An absolutely fabulous man and photographer, passionate about what he does and how you look. He made me feel so at ease with my art nude boudoir shoot. I was delighted with the variety of images to choose from—highly recommended.”
